I happened upon a series of images from the 1950s on everyone's favorite stock photography site, by photographer George Marks. The photos were black and white portraits of people looking terribly put out by a glass of water. AND THEN those same people looking ecstatic at that same glass of water. What could these photos have actually been taken for? Might they even have been taken for SodaStream in the 50s?? They seemed too perfect. I couldn't find any information as to their original purpose, but I also couldn't get over how amazing they were. A little Photoshop magic later, and voila!
